On the morning of June 19, the degree conferment ceremony and farewell party for the 2022 graduates of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was held in classroom E105 of the teaching building on Jiangning Campus. Yu Guangcong, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of China Pharmaceutical university, Chao Yang, Chairman of Nanjing Heron Pharmaceutical Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Zhou Gaoxiang, Chairman of ChinaPharmaceutical University Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Gong Yanchun, General Manager of Jiangsu Vcare PharmaTech Co., Ltd., and Zhou Muzi, Chairman of Jiangsu Jiayou Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. were invited to attend the event. All leaders of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the 2022 graduates of the Institute participated in the event，which was hosted by Wu Ruibin, assistant to the President, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Xuanwumen Campus (State Key Laboratory).

Vice President Yu Guangcong sent his heartfelt message to the graduates of the institute, encouraging them to enrich themselves and serve the people after graduation, and to practise the school spirit of "Dedicated to academic excellence and devoted to public health" in their practical work. He also extended an invitation to all graduates to visit their alma mater when they are free and to continue friendship with their teachers and classmates.

At the degree conferment ceremony, Prof.Yang Hua, Vice President of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, read out the list of students who have received degrees. Prof.Zhang Can, President of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, flippedthegraduation tassels. Prof. A Jiye, Vice President of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, presented the degree certificates to the graduates.

On behalf of the graduates, Dr. Ye Hai expressed his gratitude to the university, the institute and the teachers for nurturing him, and said he would strive to put his knowledge and skills into practice and make more contributions to the health of the people. On behalf of the alumni, Mr. Gong Yanchun shared his experience of studying and starting his own business as well as his life experience.

 At the farewell party, Vice President Yu Guangcong presented letters of appreciation and calligraphy works to the representatives of enterprises supporting the development of the institute. Representatives of the graduates presented souvenirs to the institute. The event came to a successful end in a beautiful musical melody!
